St. Bernard of Clairvaux (1090-1153) was an abbot and one who followed in the Benedictine Order of monasticism. His writings were compelling and beautifully written, drawing the reader closer to God through the cadence and beauty therein. This album is a reading of his classic "Rhythmical Prayer" and is a wonderful way to meditate on the crucifixion of Christ.
