Description

This is a live piano recording of re-imagined folk hymns from the 1800's rural American hymnal, The Southern Harmony. Some of these hymns are well-known and loved today, and some have fallen from use. Each one features meaningful lyrics, a simple folk melody, and ample opportunity for free creativity and rich harmony. Selected lyrics that inspired each setting are included in a PDF along with the download.

100% of all donations benefit the Downpour Creative Arts scholarship.
