Description

In anticipation of the March 2018 release of Frank Viele’s new album, What’s His Name?, this NoiseTrade sampler is a collection of songs new, not-so-new, and a little borrowed. Starting with the first single release from the new album, “’Til The Bourbon’s All Gone” (out now – lyric video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7hh282iZM8), and continuing with alternate versions of album tracks, “If You Could Only Read My Mind” and “Neon Lights,” His Name is Frank Viele is a sneak-peek at the new record. Rounding out the sampler is the song, “Broken Love Song" (feat Joe Bonamassa – video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=sa23P14WwRs), from Viele’s last album, Fall Your Way, which garnered the Connecticut-based singer/songwriter The New England Music Award’s 2016 Album Of The Year and Performer Of The Year, a cover of the Bob Seger classic, “Against The Wind," and the holiday-inspired, "Everything I Need," Viele has found himself on stages and radio stations across the country supporting acts from Zach Myers of Shinedown, to American Idol Winner Lee DeWyze, to Pat McGee, Xavier Rudd, Canned Heat, and Blues Traveler. At home on stage with nothing but a stool, a glass of bourbon, and his guitar, or side by side with his power house band, Howl Magazine says of Viele that "live he is transcendent." Rugged Americana, deep blues and gut-wrenching soul is what to expect from What’s His Name?, which is being released by HMG Recordings on March 23, 2018.
