21-year-old singer/songwriter Haley Greene is a northern Virginia native residing in the Blue Ridge mountains. She was brought up in many different countries because of her parent's job which led to a more culturally-immersed lifestyle throughout her childhood years. Her early exposure to different kinds of music in these places sparked her interest in songwriting early on as a self-taught guitarist/vocalist. Additionally, she plays the ukulele, piano, keytar, synth, and mandolin.
Greene began as an interviewer at Liberty University for a side project where she encountered many different musicians from the Lynchburg, Virginia area. It was there that she was encouraged to start pursuing music seriously. After playing shows in coffee shops and opening for Nashville act The Vespers, she shared a stage with many local acts at Lynchstock Music Festival which has featured names like The Last Bison, Civil Twilight, and Colony House.
In 2016, she was commissioned in Nashville by Alison Krauss' former manager for a songwriting project and recorded her debut EP "Revisiting Doors." She plans to go on tour with rising pop musician Victoria Canal in July 2016 to promote this album.
