Roure: The Catalán way of saying, "Oak." Oak: A strong tree with firm roots and steadfast growth.
The process of making an album is a lot harder than I thought it would be...but hey, good things take time, am I right? Making an album requires a lot of grit, determination, hope, and persistence to see this process through from it's beginning to it's completion. I've learned so much about what it means to face fears and believe who He says I am these last few years and I am so excited to share these stories with you through the songs that make up Roure. Jesus blew me away with His provision and faithfulness- even when I doubted the funds would come in. Man oh man, He is faithful.
My desire for this album was/is to worship with my all and to create a safe place for people to process and wrestle. For fellow pilgrims to be invited into a space of unwinding, realness, and acceptance right where he/she is at. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Roure.
