Joel Guthrie is a singer/songwriter who grew up all over the country. Since he was young, he has learned to play every instrument he can get his hands on, his favorite being the guitar. Joel has always been inspired by Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman and first developed his performance skills leading worship in high school. He recently graduated from the LA Music Academy where he studied vocal performance and is soon heading to Nashville to pursue his dreams as an artist and songwriter. Joel also recently released his debut album ‘Subtitles for a Love Song,’ produced by the very talented Jesse Barrera. Joel is influenced by artists such as Keith Urban, Jason Mraz, Switchfoot, and many others, drawing inspiration from many different genres to create a sound all his own. Joel says ‘Subtitles for a Love Song’ is an acoustic pop record with a little soul, a little twang, and a whole lot of love.
