Souls Of Present Grace was an original rock band from Phoenix, Arizona that formed in January, 1999. Band members Marshall McLuhan, Todd Hogan, Geoff Schell, Glen Thompson and later Mark Johnson, performed hundreds of times throughout the Southwestern part of the United States in support of this 1999 release and their 2001 5 song EP release "Fade To Grey" which is included on this release as well. SPG won a regional Hard Rock Cafe band search contest which opened doors for the group all over the Phoenix area that led to shows at places like The Whiskey on the Sunset strip in Hollywood and opening for bands like Quiet Riot, Lifehouse, Little River Band, and others. They disbanded in 2002 when Marshall accepted a position as Worship Pastor at North Ridge Community Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Listeners may hear the influences of artists like Creed, Fuel, 3 Door Down, Matchbox 20, Tonic, and Foo Fighters.
