Description

Mega Gem’s first full-length album:Colors of the West. As Denver’s only pop-punk orchestra, Mega Gem boasts a 6-person lineup. Seven- year-old member, Mia is featured on “Mia’s Sing-along,” a track she wrote herself. Colors of the West was recorded over two years at Denver’s Ghost House Studios and credits over 30 musicians with rich symphonic arrangements laid thoughtfully over raw indie-punk songs. Colors of the West's signature elements feature compelling dynamics, earnest lyrics, playful on-stage chemistry, diverse instruments such as strings, horns, toy piano, musical saw, banjo, kazoo and a sweet recorder solo.
