Description
LA-based funk/soul artist Olivia Morreale gets in the groove with her debut single “Daytime Moon,” released on July 6th, 2018 - the single is the first on a five-track EP of the same title. The track starts with bluesy solo piano, throwing it back to the jazz and blues of Liv’s childhood and musical upbringing; the powerhouse vocals, horns, and live instrumentation are a snapshot of what it’s like as a listener at her sexy, groove-based live show. Lyrically, the track touches on themes of longing and the feeling of belonging, influenced by the writing of indie songwriter/poets and old souls alike.
