Rebecca Loebe is an award-winning indie folk songwriter based in Austin, TX. Since quitting her job as a full-time recording studio engineer four years ago, she has built a career as a touring songwriter, averaging 200 shows per year in over 35 states of the US & Europe.
Her 2010 release MYSTERY PRIZE garnered praise from critics & fans in the US & abroad for its quirky approach to topics ranging from confusion of the heart, immigrant rights and the dangers of arts and crafts. The album spent over 10 weeks on the US & Euro Americana Charts and caught the attention of casting directors working on NBC's "The Voice." As a contestant on the show, she sang a stirring re-interpretation of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are” that inspired both Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera to offer her mentorship. It also showed audiences worldwide the unique voice, effervescent personality and sharp wit that folk fans and festival-goers across the country had known about for years.
