"Jazzy, Folky, Positive..!"
Once a member of Nashville’s favorite original swing band, BadaBing BadaBoom, Rebecca later earned National praise as a jazz vocalist reaching #47 on the JazzWeek Charts with her solo debut, “This is Always”.
Her own music blends together elements of Pop, Jazz and Blues, as heard on “New Girl”, her first original EP release. The title cut, co-written with her long-time friend and BadaBing band mate, Ed Mugavero, won an Honor Award from the 2009 Great American Songwriting Contest and was featured on the 2010 season premier of “So You Think You Can Dance”.
Rebecca can be heard playing regularly around Nashville or touring in her home state of California. Her upcoming and long-awaited new EP, “Play” wiil be officially released in March, 2012, followed by a West-coast tour later this year. Recently, Rebecca has teamed up with her cousin, Staci Ericson, co-writing an album of children's manner songs to be recorded sometime in 2012.
