The music of Songs in the Night was inspired by the personal journeys of two musicians through different night seasons. Despite the fact that circumstances can sometimes seem very dark, there is always precious hope and light to be found when we turn our gaze toward Jesus, the true source of life and light. When we are surrounded by various forms of darkness, His light and love often appear brighter and clearer than at any other time. That is the beauty of Songs in the Night.

The theme of the album, as so beautifully penned by the Psalmist, is expressed in Psalm 42:8: "The Lord will send His faithful love by day; His song will be with me in the night--a prayer to the God of my life."

Jean Miller (vocals and flute) and Rebekah Heinz (harp) compiled and recorded many of their favorite songs, hymns, and original compositions with the hope and prayer that their music would comfort and strengthen the spirits of all who listen.

The two tracks currently available are a pre-release promotion. The full 16-track album will be released on December 11, 2015!
