Royal Ruckus

For fans of:LA Symphony, Bare Naked Ladies, Beastie Boys, Pigeon John, Postal Service

Founded in 1998 in Bakersfield, California by high school kids, Royal Ruckus have always defied definitions. They have proudly infused a variety of influences into their music and covered a range of topics in their lyrics. Always positive, sometimes contemplative, and occasionally a little silly, the crew bringing the Ruckus consistently gives the listener something to think about.

In 2002, Mike Walker and Jamey Bennett—the two constants of Royal Ruckus—packed up their things and moved to Nashville. With a fresh record deal and a zeal for performance, they rode an amazing nowhere. But that hasn't stopped them from continuing to collaborate on and off over the years.

Having shared the stage with a variety of artists, including Tait (DC Talk), Todd Agnew, John Reuben, Phantom Planet, Dirt of Shadow of the Locust, KJ-52, and others, Royal Ruckus have always been a fun to watch through their creative antics. Their latest project is a double album, entitled "Summer of the Cicadas," which releases worldwide on Invisible Library Records in January 2017.

In the meantime, enjoy these projects for free, and consider leaving a tip.
