Sean Carter and Caroline Cobb first met in the fall of 2011 at an Art House Dallas songwriter's event and became instant fans of each other's writing style and musicianship. Soon after, Sean and Caroline collaborated on "The Passover Song," a song that tells the Old Testament story of the passover, with an eye toward its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ. Their hope is that this song, along with the others included on this free NoiseTrade album, will point you toward Jesus in this Lenten season and ready your heart for Easter.
Caroline Cobb's 2013 release, The Blood + the Breath, takes the listener on a journey through scripture, from creation to Jesus’ return. Every song points to the theme of redemption and the person of Christ. The critically-acclaimed album reached #6 on iTunes Christian/Gospel and was later included on the “New and Notable” and “What We’re Listening To” lists. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, Nick, and three children Ellie, Harrison, and Libby.
