By 2002 The Money Makers were in full swing and top form. Working 4-5 nights a week will make you tight in a hurry. I met Jack Trice about 2001. Since then he has become my writer partner and great friend. When we first started collaborating, Jack and I wrote 3 times a week for about year. The best of that time period ending up on LSP. This CD took a long time to make. When the studio is in your house you are never happy. Q-ball laid down the drums with me singing and playing rhythm. Then with the extensive help of Jack Trice and Lenny Grasso on bass and harmony vocals I finished it up about a year later. This is my favorite Money Makers CD so far. It took a while but it was worth it. The song "$40 Gig and $50 Tab" which I wrote with Kenneth Wright helped get us more airplay. Some of my other favorites are "100% Chance of Rain","Lay it Down", and the title cut "Leopard Skin Print".
