‘Pink Flamingo Hotels’ is a two part single, recorded as part of Converse Rubber Tracks. The origin of ‘Flamingo’ goes back many years and several bands – originally a Those Royals song (Spransy and Stewart’s Milwaukee based band). The track boasts an upbeat swagger and Police-esque flourishes with hints of dark atmospheric tones. Thematically, centering on the universal search for stardom and the inevitable let down of not reaching it.

Recorded by Matt Beauboin at Q Division in Somerville, MA, Matt Girard Arlington Studios and Aaron Spransy at The Bonus Room.
