The Well Music presents “You Brought Me Back to Life” by Eden Again, a band from The Well Community Church in Fresno. Eden Again is made up of Kelsey Ryska, Sam Hart and brothers Bryan, Steven and Justin Potter. The song flirts with an 80s synthdriven, electro flair while staying true to the pop/rock sensibilities of the band to deliver an energetic proclamation of the restored and awakened life available through Christ. We built “something unique together,” says Bryan, the band’s guitarist. Kelsey, one of the band’s vocalists agrees, saying, “Initially, I didn’t really connect with this song. But now I feel the way we’ve arranged the music helps deliver the lyrics in an approachable way.” Lead singer Sam Hart sums it all up saying, “It’s so fun to play music we like while singing lyrics that hold such epic truth. Nothing makes me happier than hearing the redeemed church sing loudly.” We hope this tune will lead your heart and mind to celebrate that, “God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ” (Ephesians 2:45, ESV).
