Earlier this week, Manchester United signed yet another corporate sponsor when they inked a deal with Mlily, who will become the club’s official global mattress partner. While seemingly bizarre, the partnership isn’t even Manchester United’s strangest deal… looking in your direction Nissan Foods Group (global noodle provider) and EuroFood (confectionary partner for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam).
In fact, the deal (which now allows United fans to say that they’re going to the mattresses) certainly isn’t that odd when you look at some of the other sponsorships and endorsements that have happened in the broader world of global soccer. With that in mind, here are 24 of the more random advertisements you’re ever going to see.
