The former Arsenal man waited a little too long to boot the ball downfield, giving Lallana enough time to throw himself in front of the clearance and deflect it right into the goal. It’s the third “goal” for Lallana in a Liverpool jersey, but it’s safe to say they won’t come any luckier than that.
Lallana added a second goal ten minutes later and Liverpool went on to win 4-1.
