Robbie Keane scored in the 111th minute to give LA Galaxy a 2-1 win over New England Revolution in the 2014 MLS Cup, and he did it with a classic sneaky offside trick.
Watch the replay above and you’ll see Keane clearly standing in an offside position, slowly circling back until he’s just onside, and then giving teammate Marcelo Sarvas the “send it!” signal before sprinting forward again. Sarvas does as asked, and Keane is through on goal.
