WATCH: The Philadelphia Union’s “Fresh Prince” Spoof Is Pretty Great

The Philadelphia Union aren’t doing that great at the moment. Eight games into the MLS 2017 season and they have yet to win a single match. With four points to their name so far, the Union look like early contenders for the league’s dubious (and unofficial) Wooden Spoon Award.

Which is to say, it’s tough being a Union fan right now. Or a player. Or a front office staff member.

But at least they still have their sense of humor.

To wit: this shot-for-shot parody remake of the opening title sequence for The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, starring Union forward CJ Sapong.

There’s a lot to unpack. I think my favorite bit may be right near the beginning, when Sapong performs the graffiti scene using magic spray. The staged fight with his teammates is also really funny. And also… you know what, just watch the whole thing. It’s great. It’s funny. Trust me.
