Apple has been partnered with the HIV/AIDS awareness raising and fundraising outfit (Red) for the past 10 years and to celebrate that decade-long partnership, Apple has announced special (Red) editions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Both (Red) special editions are available to order online and in stores worldwide this Friday, March 24, and will start shipping at the end of the month. Each edition is available in 128GB and 256GB models, and the pricing starts at $749.
All money that (RED) raises goes directly to Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants that help with testing, counseling, treatment and prevention programs, with a specific focus on eliminating transmission of the virus from mothers to their babies. Apple itself has contributed more than $130 million to the Global Fund through its (Red) partnership.
