There’s no question that tech is usually one of the first places people go when it comes to Black Friday deals. Televisions, laptops, wearables—you’re bound to find something in whatever category your shopping for at a decent discount this year if you are diligent about getting out to the stores early enough.
It’s always exciting to see technology become affordable to the masses and this year we’re getting some great examples of that, such as 4K televisions. So get out that holiday shopping list and figure out your plan of attack based on our 15 best Black Friday deals in tech:
(Target) $40 off
The Pebble Time is the second smartwatch from the makers of the original smartwatch, the Pebble. It now has a color screen and a completely redesigned interface. Although it doesn’t have the flashiness of an Apple Watch or Android Wear device, it’s got fantastic battery life and is every bit as useful.
(Target) $80 off
The Roomba gets a lot of flack these days, but it’s pretty cool when you get over how silly the concept is. At $80 off the normal price, this is a great deal for that person in your life who hates vacuuming and would love the idea of having a little robot in their house.
(Target) $50 off
For the health nut in your life, the Fitbit Charge HR is an inexpensive little wearable that tracks your health stats throughout the day. It’s not a full-on smartwatch, but it has a small display that gives you an update on your stats, as well as the time, and even some notifications from your smartphone.
(Best Buy) $100 off
Apple products pretty much never get discounts outside of when Apple directly announces them itself. However, for Black Friday, stores usually give discounts by providing free gift cards with the purchase. This is the 2014 model because the iPad Air line didn’t get an update this year, but it’s still one of the best tablets you can buy. This one is $100 off at Best Buy when you buy the 32GB or 64GB version and even though it’s not a true discount, it’s still a fantastic deal.

Camera discounts can be kind of hit or miss for Black Friday, but this year Walmart has a couple of nice deals for Rebel T5 cameras. First is the entry level Rebel T5, which is getting a $100 discount for a total of $399. Meanwhile, the EOS Rebel T5i is also $100 off, for a total of $649.
(Best Buy) $100 off
The details of this deal haven’t been specified outside of the price, but my assumption is that this discount is also in the form of a $100 gift card. However, the chance to get an Apple Watch for $349 with a free $100 gift card should entice plenty of people who were on the fence about the whole smartwatch thing.
(Walmart) $130 off
Beats headphones always get pretty nice discounts each Black Friday and this year is no different. At $130 off these great wireless headphones, this is one of the better deals for Beats we’ve seen in the past few years.
(Amazon, $150 discount)
Getting a television sound system can often require a lot of research and even more extra dough. If you don’t have the time or money, this Bose system is a great way to go and is on a $150 discount through Amazon. That means you don’t even have to get up early in the morning on Friday to pick this one up!
Best Buy has two deals on Surface products: the Surface Pro 3 and the Surface 3. The Surface Pro 3 isn’t the newest model, but it’s still an excellent tablet/laptop hybrid that will be able to run the new Windows 10. The Best Buy deal gives $300 off across the different storage configurations. Best Buy also has the Surface 3, which is a more midrange device, but comes in with a $100 discount.
Best Buy has a bunch of great discounts on different MacBooks this year, starting with the 13-inch Intel Core i5 MacBook Pro (4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive) for just $899, which is $200 off the original price. This is last year’s model, but it’s still a great-performing laptop by just about any standard.
If you’re looking for something a bit higher-end, Best Buy also has a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, which is also a Core i5, but comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. This one is $1349, which is a $100 discount. Lastly is the beautiful and incredibly thin 12-inch MacBook, which comes in for $1149 (a $150 discount).
Televisions are always at the heart of Black Friday deals and Target has some great deals on HD TVs. You’ve got two good options here: the first is the 60-inch 1080p Samsung LED Smart TV, which comes in at $698 at $300 off. The lower end choice is the 55-inch 1080p Westinghouse LED HD TV. This one is just $250 at a $350 discount.
(Best Buy, $280 discount)
This one is the cheapest HD TV you’ll be able to find at just $149. You better believe that this 49-inch 1080p LED television will be flying off the shelves.
(Amazon, $430 discount)
If you don’t mind getting a television in the mail, this is the cheapest 4K television you’ll be able to find for Black Friday this year. The Hisense brand isn’t the highest end one you can find, but reviews of this particular television have been great, so get on this one while you can.
(Sears) $1400 off
Okay so not everyone wants a curved television, but if you are looking for the ultimate immersive entertainment system, you’ll want to check out this 65-inch 4K Smart TV from Samsung over at Sears.
