Take a Tree-Cation in This Hanging Hotel

If you prefer to escape to small, spherical spaces, look no further than Free Spirit Spheres on Victoria Island, British Columbia.

These orb-shaped tree houses are about 325-square-foot hotel rooms that are suspended above the coastal rainforest. Each of the three whimsically named orbs available took about three years to build; constructed from fiberglass, guests need not fear of collapse or free fall, but rather can enjoy the view of canopy foliage through the round windows in each pod. If you catch a nice breeze, your orb may even rock you to sleep.

This adults-only vacation spot is great for a weekend away. Drop-down beds, work spaces and sinks are in every pod; the smaller of the three rooms sleeps one comfortably, while the bigger of the three are perfect for two. A full-circle (pun intended) vacation experience can be yours starting at $175 per night.
