These orb-shaped tree houses are about 325-square-foot hotel rooms that are suspended above the coastal rainforest. Each of the three whimsically named orbs available took about three years to build; constructed from fiberglass, guests need not fear of collapse or free fall, but rather can enjoy the view of canopy foliage through the round windows in each pod. If you catch a nice breeze, your orb may even rock you to sleep.
This adults-only vacation spot is great for a weekend away. Drop-down beds, work spaces and sinks are in every pod; the smaller of the three rooms sleeps one comfortably, while the bigger of the three are perfect for two.
