Atypical Season Three Trailer Introduces Two New Characters

Netflix’s Atypical has a trailer for its third season, coming in November.

The coming-of-age story follows Sam (Keir Gilchrist), a 19-year-old on the autism spectrum, as he searches for love and independence. While Sam is on his funny and emotional journey of self-discovery, the rest of his family must grapple with change in their own lives as they all struggle with the ongoing central theme of the series: What does it really mean to be normal?

Season Three sees Sam start his first year of college, facing the challenge of figuring out what success means for him and adjusting to the changes that come with growing up. The new season introduces Sara Gilbert as Sam’s new Ethics professor and Eric McCormack as his art professor. Back for Season Three are Jennifer Jason Leigh as Sam’s mother, Elsa, Michael Rapaport as his father, Doug, and Brigette Lundy-Paine as Casey, Sam’s sister.

Atypical Season Three will feature 10 new episodes, debuting on Netflix Nov. 1. Check out the trailer below.
