SYFY Is Premiering All of Channel Zero‘s Season 4 in a Single Week

In celebration of its 10th year of running its “31 Days of Halloween” promotion throughout October, SYFY is giving an additional treat to fans of its horror anthology series, Channel Zero. Unlike previous seasons of the series, which premiered and aired in standard fashion, with one episode per week, season 4 of Channel Zero will take more of a streaming service approach by premiering all of its episodes from Oct. 26-31, while simultaneously making them all available on VOD following the premiere of the first episode on Oct. 26.

Season 4, titled “The Dream Door,” adapts a popular online urban legend or “creepypasta” in the same manner as previous Channel Zero seasons “Candle Cove,” “No-End House” and “Butcher’s Block.” The series, created by writer-director Nick Antosca, has been among our favorite horror shows on TV since it first premiered in 2016, typically bringing well above-average performances and dreadful visuals to the genre, in a way that is significantly more high-brow than the likes of American Horror Story.

According to SYFY, “The Dream Door” follows “newlyweds Jillian and Tom, who have each brought secrets into their marriage. When they discover a strange door in their basement, those secrets threaten to destroy their relationship and their lives.” Its tagline: “Not imaginary. Not a friend.”

“The Dream Door” is directed by Evan Katz, and stars Brandon Scott, Maria Sten, Steven Robertson, Troy James, Steven Weber and ‘80s horror icon Barbara Crampton, of Re-Animator fame. Keep your eyes peeled for the Oct. 26 premiere, and enjoy the immediate binge-ability of season 4 immediately thereafter.
