Craig Robinson is stepping away from his typical comedic roles to appear in the second season of USA Network’s hacking drama hit Mr. Robot, Variety reports.
Robinson, who is well known for his characters in The Office, Hot Tub Time Machine and This Is The End, will join the award-winning cast and director Sam Esmail in the recurring role of Ray, “a neighborhood local who reaches out to Elliot in his time of need.”
Robinson is another big name in a recent slew of season two casting announcements for the series, which will also see Joey Bada$$, Chris Conroy and Grace Gummer featured in the sophomore run of the dark drama.
Production on Mr. Robot’s second season begins this month while new season is scheduled to premiere this summer.
