Netflix Releases First Full El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie Trailer

The hotly anticipated full trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie has finally been released, offering fans a look at a heavily scarred Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul. Breaking Bad’s creator, Vince Gilligan, wants fans going into El Camino as blind as possible, with the spinoff film’s first two teasers offering mere glimpses of what the film entails. The full trailer, which unfolds across more than two minutes, isn’t dissimilar.

In it, we see Pinkman meeting up with his delinquent buddies Skinny Pete and Badger—confirming recent reports that Matt Jones and Charles Baker would reprise their roles from the original AMC series. Unfolding immediately after the series finale, it’s no surprise El Camino finds Jesse looking like, well, a shitshow. He’s no doubt both physically and mentally scarred, but “ready,” or so he tells an offscreen voice.

Netflix’s synopsis reads, “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future,” hinting at some sort of dramatic showdown that will make or break the character of Jesse Pinkman.
