Jessica Biel Starring In and Producing New Facebook Watch Series Limetown

The popular podcast Limetown is being adapted into a TV show, executive produced by and starring Jessica Biel, with Endeavor Content as the studio. 10 episodes of the show have been ordered by Facebook Watch, the social media platform’s own streaming service, per an Endeavor press release.

Limetown, created by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie, tells the (fictional) story of a small town in Tennessee where there was a disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research facility. Listeners follow reporter Lia Haddock as she tries to unravel the 10-year-old mystery.

Akers and Bronkie will write and executive produce the adaptation, while Midnight Radio’s Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg will executive produce and showrun. Biel is executive producing via her Iron Ocean Productions banner alongside Michelle Purple.

Along with the TV adaptation, Limetown the podcast is set to release its second season this Oct. 31, produced by Endeavor Audio, and a prequel novel, written by Cote Smith with the show’s creators, is due out on Nov. 13.
