Amazon’s dystopian alternative-history drama The Man In the High Castle asks one simple question: “What if the Nazi’s had won World War II?” But what started off so casually in seasons one and two is becoming far more complex in season three.
The teaser for the upcoming season of the show was released Sunday at San Diego ComicCon and it previews a new universe coming into play. The plot will reportedly take on a more sci-fi angle, with the Greater Reich beginning to play around with the idea of the multiverse. The teaser also suggests that there may also be a plausible shot at revolution for those who are still willing to fight. You can watch it in full below.
The Man In the High Castle is based on on the novel by Philip K. Dick of the same name. The show will see John Hans Tester returning as Dr Josef Mengele and Jason O’Mara from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. joining as Irish immigrant Wyatt Price. Michael Gaston’s character Mark Sampson has also now become a more regular character in the show.
Season three is set for a Oct. 5 launch date, and Amazon has already announced a renewal for season four of The Man In the High Castle.
