With an Emmy nomination in tow, The Powerpuff Girls has been greenlit for a second season on Cartoon Network.
The reincarnation of the series that dates back to 1998 premiered this past April with sugar, spice and everything nice. Its 2016 premiere garnered 81 million views, setting a network record.
A season two release date has not been confirmed, but the cute and fierce sister trio of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will be back fighting evil before you know it.
