A new featurette from Spike Lee’s upcoming film Oldboy was premiered on Yahoo! today. Starring Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen and Samuel L. Jackson, the movie tells the story of Joe Douchette (Josh Brolin), who is seemingly kidnapped for no apparent reason and kept in solitary confinement for almost two decades. One day he is mysteriously let go and Brolin begins a quest to find out who’s behind it all.
The movie is a remake of a 2003 South Korean film, which was based off a Japanese illustrated novel. In the newest clip for Oldboy, actor Josh Brolin talks about the intensity of the movie and how filming the psychological thriller was “the most difficult thing I’ve ever done.”
Oldboy is out Nov. 27.
