We Now Know the Three New Characters Coming to Stranger Things Season Two

TV News Stranger Things

Stranger Things was one of the year’s biggest new shows. Now, following the announcement of a second season containing nine episodes, the show is planning to add a few new cast members. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show has released three casting calls for characters named Max, Roman and Billy.

As for the descriptions of this trio, Max is supposed to be a 13-year-old tomboy who likes skateboarding. She has a difficult relationship with her stepbrother, Billy. Roman, whose gender hasn’t been disclosed, is described as a man or woman in their 30s who is seeking revenge after a tough childhood and a mother with a drug addiction.

As for Billy, he’s described as a 17-year-old who “steals people’s girlfriends” and drives a Black Camaro. Per THR, Billy has a “violent and unpredictable nature that shows itself to those closest to him, especially to ones who are younger than him.”

Season two of Stranger Things is still largely a mystery, but the creators have dropped a few hints about what’s to come. Season two will be set a year after the first installment in 1984, and will be a direct sequel to season one.

As the season’s tagline explains, “When terrifying supernatural forces once again begin to affect Hawkins, they realize Will’s disappearance is only the beginning.” Season two is set to debut in 2017—hopefully viewers can wait that long.
