Arrow Star Stephen Amell Interested In A SupergirlCrossover

TV News Supergirl

The Flash’s Barry Allen and Supergirl’s Kara Danvers have plans to come face-to-face in an upcoming crossover episode, set to air in late March.

Since the announcement of the cross-network team-up, it seems that fan interest has grown concerning the potential for more characters to drop in across the DC television universe. That includes Arrow’s leading man, who shared that he too has interest in crossing path’s with National City’s Supergirl.

Speaking to IGN, Stephen Amell addressed the possibility of seeing Oliver Queen, who has already dropped in to The CW Network’s other DC comics shows, in a crossover with Kara.

“I would love to go over to Supergirl” he told IGN. “That would be a blast, if for no other reason than I miss shooting in Los Angeles.”

It is, of course, quite possible considering that like The Flash, Arrow shares executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg with Supergirl. Their involvement in the DC series about the man in the green hood has slimmed over the years as they’ve taken on more new shows. That includes the latest DC spin-off at The CW, Legends of Tomorrow.

But fan interest, which sparked the decision by CBS Studios and Warner Bros. Studios to greenlight The Flash and Supergirl crossover, may be enough to make it happen. And if a reporter is asking the question, they are probably asking for more than themselves.
