The Flash Will Be Visiting National City Really Soon in Supergirl Crossover

TV News The Flash

Two of television’s most popular superheroes will be teaming up for a crossover episode according to CBS.

The Flash’s Barry Allen and Supergirl’s Kara Danvers have plans to officially meet in an upcoming episode of the CBS series. The network hasn’t released too many details about its plans for The CW’s Flash to zoom into National City, but we do know to expect the team-up to take place on March 28.

Fans and critics alike have been pretty vocal about their interest in seeing Central City’s speedster visit TV’s newest female flyer for some quality villain butt-kicking. It seemed like a plausible crossover, too, considering that both series share executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg.

Warner Bros. Studios, DC and CBS Network were apparently won over by viewer interest and now we have our long awaited wish. Supergirl and The Flash EPs Berlanti and Kreisberg took the time to thank all the parties who were involved in making the crossover a reality.

“We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out,” Kreisberg and Berlanti said in the press release announcing the highly anticipated episode.
