Watch The Good Place Season Three’s First Few Minutes Right Forkin’ Now

NBC’s beloved metaphysical sitcom The Good Place doesn’t return for round three until Sept. 27, but the powers that be have bestowed the first four-or-so minutes of the show’s new season upon us. Fork yeah.

The Good Place’s second season concluded back in February, so fortunately, the clip begins with a recap: We revisit Ted Danson’s Good Place Architect Michael saving Eleanor, Chidi, Jason and Tahani from The Bad Place via a game-changing gambit, sending the foursome back to earth as a test of whether they can be good people after all.

Michael then meets The Doorman, with whom he has to negotiate the show’s four core mortals’ return to Earth. When he’s given the go-ahead but told he won’t have any powers, Michael is tickled by the thought of riding a bus—it’s delightful. From there, everyone’s favorite demon saves Eleanor, Chidi, Jason and Tahani from their untimely deaths, like an anonymous, white-haired superhero.
