Those of you who grew up in the ‘90s will likely remember The Magic School Bus, an educational TV show that aired on PBS beginning in 1994. The show won praise for its combination of education with entertainment, spearheaded by Lily Tomlin’s Ms. Frizzle, the eccentric teacher who drove the eponymous bus.
Now you can watch the trailer for Netflix’s reboot of the classic show, titled The Magic School Bus Rides Again. You can hear Lin-Manuel Miranda’s update of the old theme song and Kate McKinnon as Ms. Frizzle’s younger sister, Felicity. Felicity is the new teacher in charge of the magic school bus’ wild journeys through time and space—who knew elementary schoolteacher was a hereditary title?
The Magic School Bus Rides Again will release on Netflix Sept. 29. Check out the trailer above, and see everything that’s coming to Netflix this month here.
