Starting on Apr. 4, the day will once again be saved thanks to The Powerpuff Girls!
The pint-size superheroes, whose reboot has been public knowledge for a while, will make their long-awaited return to Cartoon Network next month, the network announced today. They’ll hold the 6:00 p.m. time slot with new episodes every weekday until Apr. 15, after which the show will assume a weekly presence on Thursday evenings.
Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will all have new voice actors this time around—a decision that will surely rankle some of the old-guard fans—and creator Craig McCracken will not be involved in the production, but at least Tom Kenny will reprise his role as the Mayor.
