After 20 years away, cult hero He-Man will return in the first new episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe since 1985, thanks to classic toy developer Super7.
The episode, titled “The Curse of the Three Terrors,” will screen at this week’s San Diego Comic Con. The screening is open to the public and starts at 10 p.m. in the parking lot on the Corner of 8th Ave & G.
The original series ran for two seasons, beginning in 1983 and ending in 1985. He-Man was reborn in The New Adventures of He-Man in the ‘90s, followed by an updated take on Masters of the Universe in 2002 before ending in 2004.
A live-action He-Man film is currently in development, with director McG (Terminator Salvation) set to direct with actor Kellan Lutz (The Legend of Hercules ) rumored to star.
