In a tweet posted Friday, the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter announced that the game has gone gold—essentially, this means that the base game is ready to be sent to manufacturers for widespread digital and physical distribution. Now that the game has entered its final stage, the developers will dedicate themselves to working on further polishing and refining the game. But it’s fully playable and ready to come out on Oct. 5.
