Not much was revealed about gameplay except hints that players will be able to use both their human and demonic skills. Devil’s Hunt is also planned for release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to 1C, features also include:

Captivating Storyline: Based on the original novel by Polish author Pawel Lesniak
Change Forms: Exercise useful human and demon skills alike to overcome obstacles
Fight Like a Demon: Third person melee combat with large variety of attacks, combos, and enemies

Developed by Cultic Games, Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones is another in a long list of games adapting the works of H.P Lovecraft. Focusing on the theme of madness, players will work their way through this turned-based tactical RPG, in what the publisher describes as a “journey from a doomed Arkham into the depths of the Abyss.” There is currently a demo available for Stygian on Steam.

In a released statement, 1C gives an overview of the gameplay:

Players will journey from a doomed Arkham into the depths of the Abyss, creating their own character based on one of eight Archetypes and carve a path through a broken and mysterious world. The desperate battle against the forces beyond our comprehension will haunt players until the end.

The game’s unique Belief System mechanic determines how character sanity is affected by the warped reality and how sanity can be regenerated. It also affects the availability of dialog options, as well as their consequences, in a given situation. Physical combat will be challenging, spellcasting will have dire consequences, and sanity will be strained to the breaking point by unknown abominations.

Both games are scheduled to release in 2019. You can watch the teaser trailers for both games below.
