The Game of Thrones Badass Bracket: A CHAMPION IS CROWNED

You’ve stayed with us for 10 days and thousands of votes, and finally, here at the very end, 64 has become ONE. Back when we started, we were just a bunch of innocent kids with an idea, and we had no idea we could ever pull this thing off. Wait, that’s not true…sorry, I got my speeches mixed up. Anyway, this is a special day, and I won’t make you wait any longer before revealing the biggest badass in the Game of Thrones universe.

THE FINAL:

(1) Arya Stark def. (1) Tyrion Lannister, 64.96% – 35.04%

Incredible! It wasn’t even that close—the Stark girl jumped out to an early lead yesterday morning and never looked back. Tyrion, who had completely dominated all opponents up to and including Jon Snow in the semifinal, had no defense against the onslaught. Right now, I picture Arya holding her sword Needle and wearing this creepily satisfied expression:

As for Tyrion, he’ll probably always wonder if his very un-badass turn in Sunday night’s episode hurt his chances in the final. The timing could not have been worse, but that’s the name of the game…of thrones.
