This past Saturday was big for Colombian team Deportivo Independiente Medellín. Not only did fans celebrate the club’s 101s birthday by unfurling the biggest tifo you’ve ever seen and beat Deportivo Cali 3-2, but midfielder Elton came off the bench and pulled off the most outrageous trick of 2014, catching the ball on his neck.

Am I being hyperbolic here? Ask the Cali players. One goal down with about a minute to go, Elton’s trick was more than enough to provoke their actual outrage, with at least two Cali players letting Elton know they didn’t enjoy the show.
