After standing behind director Quentin Tarantino despite a recent police brutality controversy, The Weinstein Company released the full trailer for The Hateful Eight. The Western, set post-Civil War in Wyoming, follows bounty hunter Kurt Russell and fugitive Jennifer Jason Leigh as they encounter a group of killers on their way to the town of Red Rock. It is Tarantino’s eighth film and was shot in 70mm. The film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Demian Bichir, Bruce Dern and Channing Tatum.
The Hateful Eight is in select theaters Christmas Day and everywhere Jan. 8.
