The nominees for the 88th Annual Academy Awards have officially arrived, straight from the Academy’s break-of-dawn press conference in Los Angeles. The nominees were announced this morning by actor John Krasinski, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs and visionary filmmakers Guillermo del Toro and Ang Lee. The show on Sunday, Feb. 28 will be hosted by comedian Chris Rock.

Some of the results were as expected—Leonaro DiCaprio will continue his quest for an Oscar, for example, as he represents Alejandro Iñárritu’s The Revenant. Also successful was George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, which has been picking up far more nominations than any other “action film” in recent memory, providing hope to we genre fans—even a Best Picture nomination among its 10 in total.

As in previous years, there is sure to be controversy about the lack of racial diversity among the nominees—not a single non-white actor or actress was nominated in any of the four major acting categories, which might well revive some of the anti-Academy hashtags.

Without further ado, here are the nominees.
