Musician/Comedian Allie Goertz Releases Rick and Morty Concept Album

Comedian and musician Allie Goertz has followed her Nerdy Love Songs with even more nerd love in Sad Dance Songs, a Rick and Morty concept album. The album, which you can buy now for $5, consists of five tracks with references and samples from the hit Adult Swim show. On the album’s Bandcamp page, Goertz writes that she sought to “match the beauty, darkness, and lunacy of the show.” True to its name, the album features synth-heavy dance tracks accompanied by Goertz’s ethereal, sometimes melancholy, vocals.
