Last week we showed you some new official character photos of the core trio in AMC’s upcoming comic adaptation Preacher, which were released in anticipation of the the pilot’s screening at SXSW happening later today.
But before that goes down, Variety is reporting that the new series will premiere on Sunday, May 22 at 10 p.m. ET after the Fear The Walking Dead’s mid-season finale. For those who are unable to set aside their entire lives to make time to watch the anticipated one hour premiere, the pilot will receive encore presentations during Memorial Day weekend with new episodes resuming on June 5.
Preacher stars Dominic Cooper as a man on a mission to find God, with the help of his ex-girlfriend and an Irish vampire. If you aren’t lucky enough to get into the SXSW screening, here’s a small consolation prize: the premiere date poster featuring a smoking Cooper.
