Ali Wong, Bo Burnham, Jeff Foxworthy and More Get Premiere Dates for Netflix Specials

Comedy News Netflix

Netflix has just announced a slew of original comedy specials that will be premiering over the coming months. First comes Ali Wong’s Baby Cobra, aptly named as Wong was seven months pregnant when she filmed it. The special covers getting married, buying a house and getting pregnant, and premieres May 6.

Bo Burnham’s Make Happy delivers on Burnham’s brand of blending comedy, music and theatre, and premieres June 3. Next is Jim Jefferies’ second Netflix special Freedumb (hilarious pun btw) in which he riffs on fatherhood, religion and Bill Cosby. Should you be interested, it premieres July 1 (wouldn’t July 4 have been better, Netflix?).

Rednecks rejoice: Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy are teaming up to bring you We’ve Been Thinking…. They each perform solo, but the encore sees them coming together for a show-stopping Q&A session, according to Netflix. It’s out Aug. 26.

Lastly, Iliza Shlesinger is back with her second Netflix special titled Confirmed Kills, which features the TBS host’s fearless comedy and premieres Sept. 23. Check out our recent feature on Shlesinger here.
