The Last Two Avengers Movies Will No Longer Be Called Infinity War: Parts 1 and 2

Movies News

On the brink of Captain America: Civil War’s American release, we already have new information about the next behemoth Avengers-based project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Infinity War: Parts 1 and 2 will be given new titles.

Brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, who directed Civil War and will helm both Infinity Wars films, broke the news to Uproxx in an interview. Joe remarked that the forthcoming blockbusters are “two very different movies,” while Anthony explained that it’s “misleading” to title them “Part 1” and “Part 2.”

As of right now, they’re uncertain what the new titles will be. Then again, it’s fairly useless to worry about that now, seeing as Captain America: Civil War is just about ready to dominate theaters and ensure that Marvel-mania keeps going strong.

Whatever the Avengers: Infinity War movies will be called, they’re set to hit theaters in 2018 and 2019.
