The artwork depicts the movie’s main characters: Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket and Groot (voiced by Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel, respectively) and its villians Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Nebula (Karen Gillen). It also shows a new character, Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff. Per Entertainment Weekly, Mantis is an alien acquaintance of the Guardians.
“She has never really experienced social interaction,” executive producer Jonathan Schwartz told EW. “Everything she learns about dealing with people, she learns from the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a very weird group to learn your social intricacies from.”
